My Planner Setup

I’m often asked about the exact inserts, discs, and cover I use in my planner — so I created this page as a living resource.
I use the Classic Size (7” x 9.25”) system from Jane’s Agenda, and my setup has evolved over time — especially through pieces from the Deluxe Subscription Box.
Below you’ll find the core pieces that stay consistent in my planner, along with current inserts I’m using this season.
I keep this page updated as my setup evolves.
(Affiliate disclosure line here — simple and clean.)

The Foundation (Core Pieces I Use Year-Round)

These are the pieces that form the base of my planner and rarely change.

1.5” Metal Planner Discs (Gold)

I prefer 1.5” discs because they allow room to grow without becoming bulky.

Monthly Planner Inserts – Lined Boxes (Dated)

I use these for high-level monthly visibility.

Weekly Planning Inserts

I rotate between a few layouts depending on the season.

Goal + Project Planning Inserts

These pages help me break down larger initiatives and track progress intentionally.

If You’re Brand New to Planning

If you’re just getting started, I recommend beginning with:

• A cover

• Discs (I prefer 1.5″)

• Monthly inserts

• One weekly layout

You can always layer in goals, dashboards, and project inserts once you feel comfortable.

Start simple. Build intentionally.

Subscription Box Note

Many of the pieces I use throughout the year come from the Jane’s Agenda Deluxe Subscription Box. It’s been a beautiful way to gradually build my planner with both functional and elevated pieces.
Some subscription items are exclusive and may not appear in the shop, but I always link similar alternatives above whenever possible.
