🌿 My Homemaking Favorites for June (Birthday Edition!)

June is a special month around here—not only does it bring the rhythm of summer into full bloom, but it’s also my birthday month! 🥰 As a Christian homemaker, I love using this time to pause, reflect, and notice what’s really filling my cup—spiritually, emotionally, and practically in my home.
So in honor of this sweet season, I’m sharing my Homemaking Favorites for June—a cozy list of simple joys, helpful tools, and rhythms that are truly blessing my home and heart this month.
Whether you’re resetting for summer or just need a little encouragement, I hope these favorites inspire you to slow down and savor what’s good.
☀️ Summer Rhythms + A New Homemaking Flow
With the end of the school year behind us, I’ve been leaning into a slower summer rhythm. That doesn’t mean everything’s quiet (hello, mom life!), but I’m giving myself permission to loosen the reins a bit and embrace flexible structure.
One tool that’s been helping a ton is my Sunday Reset System, where I prep for the week in just a few cozy steps. I even created a free checklist if you want to try it for yourself!

🧼 Homemaking Favorites I’m Loving This June
Here are a few of the products and systems that are helping me nurture my home with more ease and intention this month:
1. Jordan Essentials TLC Magnesium Stick
My summer secret weapon! Whether I’m sore from walking, stressed out from a busy day, or just need a moment to reset—this magnesium stick is my go-to. It goes with in my purse for on-the-go hand lotion or a quick fix for aches and pains. I also apply it on my neck or feet before bed for instant calm.

2. My Index Card System for Home Management
Inspired by the book Sidetracked Home Executives: From Pigpen to Paradise, I’ve started using a super simple index card box to manage daily, weekly, and monthly home tasks. It’s such a game-changer for my ADHD brain—and it fits perfectly with my summer routine!

3. Jane’s Agenda Planner Inserts
My planner is always part of my homemaking rhythm, but this month I’m loving my new Weekly No. 31 inserts from Jane’s Agenda. The condensed layout, space to reflect, and flexible format keep me grounded without feeling overwhelmed.
4. Fresh Blooms in this vase from my daughter
Small but mighty: this sweet little bud vase, a gift from my daughter for Mother’s Day, now lives on my kitchen counter. It’s a sweet reminder of her love and thoughtfulness, and encourages me to keep the counters clean so I can enjoy a little joy booster every time I see it. ✨
🎂 My Birthday Joy List
I always like to gift myself a few small things that bring me joy around my birthday. This year, it’s not about stuff—it’s about soul-soothing rhythms and grace-filled choices.
Here’s what made the list this June:
- My favorite lotion to pamper and enjoy a fresh scent all day
- My favorite devotional I’m using this month
- My favorite iced coffee ritual (extra vanilla, please!)
- A slow morning with zero guilt 🙌
This year, I’m turning 47—and my prayer is that I’ll walk in even more peace, presence, and purpose in the year ahead.
✝️ A Verse on My Heart This Month
One of my anchors this June has been Psalm 16:11:
“You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy.”
In a season that could easily become busy, I’m asking God to lead me back to the joy found only in His presence. Not in my checklist, not in my birthday plans—but in Him.
