August Planner Reset + Jane’s Agenda Deluxe Subscription Unboxing

Life is moving fast right now — and planning is how I stay grounded. With my baby sister’s wedding just days away (cue the tears and tissues) and my daughter packing for her very first overnight summer camp, this mama’s heart is full. Full of emotion, full of excitement, and full of to-dos.
So when the August Deluxe Subscription Box from Jane’s Agenda showed up on my porch this week, it felt like perfect timing. This month’s box is full of cozy neutral tones, practical inserts, and thoughtful little touches to help you reset with intention.
In today’s post, I’m unboxing everything inside and sharing how I’m using it to start my monthly planner reset — so I can head into August with clarity, peace, and purpose.
✨ What’s Inside the August Jane’s Agenda Deluxe Box
This month’s box has such a calm, warm aesthetic — like the perfect late-summer hug before the back-to-school buzz begins. Think dark academia meets planner simplicity.
Here’s what I found inside:
- Weekly Calendar Insert (undated, one-page spread)
- Deadline Task List (perfect for any to do list you can muster)
- Themed Dashboards + Vellum Layering Pages
- Self-Care Tip-in with Journal Prompts
- Numbered Divider Set (subtle, coordinating colors and classic gold font)
- Planner Accessories (Frixion Pen, coordinating Page Finder, August card)
- Printed Quote Cards (a lovely reminder to slow down)

📝 My Monthly Reset Routine
Once I’ve unboxed everything, it’s time to put it all to work. My monthly reset is a gentle planning ritual that helps me:
- Organize the big picture for the month
- Re-center my routines and home systems
- Prioritize rest and self-care
- Make space for margin — not just more stuff
Here’s what I set up for August:
1. Big Events First
This month includes:
- JordanVention – my annual chance to reset, recharge, and refresh my Jordan Essentials business with my bestie, Sara (and our NEW Fall & Winter Catalog release!)
- Family Health appointments.
- Back-to-school shopping, meal planning, and clothing inventory
I blocked these out first in the monthly calendar insert, so I can build routines around them instead of feeling surprised or reactive.
2. Routine Check-In
I inserted the Weekly No. 30 layout and started plugging in:
- My meal planning rhythm
- Content creation deadlines (like this blog!)
- Cleaning + homemaking tasks using my index card system (you can read more about that here)
3. Visual Anchors with Dashboards
The dashboards and vellum pages are more than pretty — they’re visual cues that help me pause. I layered one of the August Quote Cards in my cover to create a little “mindset moment” in my planner. Next week I’ll add in the moody dashboards to increase the back-to-school vibe.
🧡 Why I Love Jane’s Agenda
I’ve been using Jane’s Agenda for a while now, and here’s what sets them apart:
