Exploring the Many Uses of Lavender Essential Oil in Your Home

How I Use Lavender Essential Oil in My Home

One of our household favorites is the Sleep Spray, a blend of lavender, orange, and chamomile essential oils mixed with witch hazel. This spray is gentle enough for linens and skin. Here’s how we use it:
- In my daughter’s bedroom: After making her bed, I spritz her pillows and sheets to create a calming bedtime environment. The combination of lavender and chamomile soothes, while the sweet orange helps her feel peaceful and happy.
- On my nightstand: If I’m struggling to fall asleep or wake up in the middle of the night, I spritz the spray on my pillows, pajamas, or wrists. Taking a few slow, deep breaths of the spray helps me relax and drift off.
3. Essential Oil Diffuser in the Kitchen
Our kitchen is a busy space, so I like to diffuse a blend of lavender and orange essential oils. This combination lifts everyone’s mood and creates a calm, focused atmosphere—a lifesaver during hectic afternoons of homework.
