My Q2 Reset Routine + Simple Quarterly Planning Process (2026)

There’s something about a new quarter that feels like a fresh start… without the pressure of starting over.
As I moved into April, I didn’t feel the need to completely redo my planner or overhaul my routines—but I did feel the need to pause, reflect, and reset.
Today I’m sharing my simple Q2 reset routine, how I review my goals and projects, and why this gentle process has helped me feel more balanced, focused, and at peace heading into this new season.

My Simple Quarterly Reset Process
This year, I’ve been using my Jane’s Agenda system, and one thing I love is how it encourages regular reflection—not just constant productivity.
Instead of starting from scratch, I walk through a simple process:
1. Review My Goals & Projects
I go back through everything I mapped out at the beginning of the year and ask:
- What have I completed?
- What’s still in progress?
- What haven’t I started yet?
2. Do a Life Audit
This is my favorite part.
I look at how things are going in:
- my health
- my faith
- my home
- my work
Not just what I’ve done—but how I actually feel.
3. Compare Plan vs Real Life
I ask:
- What’s working well?
- What feels off?
- What needs to shift?
4. Check My Monthly Pages
I flip through upcoming months to make sure:
- my projects are scheduled
- my goals are reflected in real life
5. Adjust Gently (Not Start Over)
This is key.
I’m not rewriting my entire plan—I’m simply making small, intentional adjustments so my planner reflects my current season of life.
💛 What I Noticed After Q1
One of the biggest shifts for me this year is that I’m not just getting things done—I actually feel better.
I’ve seen improvement in:
- my overall health and energy
- my spiritual focus
- the balance in my weekly rhythms
And that’s something I don’t think I always prioritized in the past.
🌷 Moving Into Q2
Going into this new quarter, I don’t feel pressure to do more.
Instead, I feel:
- more confident
- more grounded
- more willing to stay flexible
Q2 isn’t about starting over—it’s about continuing what’s already working.

✨ Final Encouragement
If you’ve been feeling behind, this is your reminder:
You don’t need to start over.
You can pause, reflect, and move forward from right where you are.
Progress—not perfection—is what really matters.
